Hi'ya Everyone. Theo is rappidly growing Waaaaaay too long for his fabric bath support, it has been utterly brilliant up untill a few weeks ago, when he learnt he can put his feet down on the bottom of the bath and push himself backwards... right off the end of the support (not good). to be honest he had out grown it as he is a giant anyway. i was wondering if you could recomend me what you have used to bath your baby 6months +
I have been looking at the mothercare aquapod. does anyone have this and have any comments on it? and others???

Thank you x x x x

can he sit up hun?
i use a bath seat for Thomas they just sit in it and i fill the bath up to his armpits so he doesnt get cold.
works great as hes sat up so can play with his toys and its easy t wash him as you have both hands free
xx

Finlay used to lie back in the water - I'd put a few inches in and lie him down. I didn't use a bath support at all. Used a Tummy Tub then just lay him in the water.

Now he sits up :D

We have and still use the mothercare aquapod, would recommend it definately. Before that we lay Calleigh in the water to bathe her but tried out the aquapod and she loves it and it gave us a little more reassurance when she was younger as it has a back support and front bar which she would hold onto if she felt unsteady.

That's exactly what we did after she grew out of the tummy tub. She lies down for a bit and kicks around then sits up for a bit to play with her toys. :D

We bought our bath seat from Tesco's and as long as they can sit up then you'll use it untill you can't squeeze their legs through the leg holes anymore

Be carefull though with the measurements because my sister bought one from ebay and it was too big for a standard bath.

We have never used one, we just used to hold her when she was tiny and as soon as she could sit up, she sat on her own. Now, she sits, stands and crawls around!

I had a thing that looks like a giant sponge which she lays down on. On the odd occasion I've had to give her a bath at someone elses house I've just folded up an old towel and put it in the bottom of the bath for her to lie on for a bit of cushioning.
