Not much really Mine seemed like a waste of time! The Dr asked me various questions about the birth, felt my stomach and talked about contraception, that's it!

i was expecting a bit of excitement to be honest..... midwife checks were better... at least we got to listen to baby! lol

Exactly what my doctor did!!!

To the contraception question, "What are you doing about contraception?" I replied, "Er.. sleepness nights seem to be doing the trick at the moment. No need for contraception!"

It sort of seemed like a waste of time, but after my c-section it was reassuring that he said everything seemed ok when he felt my stomach.

yup same here ,part from mine was at 9 weeks and i had 2 lmao one with consultant to talk about HELLP and the other at docs , she did check below as i still ahve pain when erm straining

they don't do that routinely but might offer if you had stitches or have concerns - if you think everything is fine and don't feel you need a check they won't

My doctor never physically checked me, even though I had a c-section. He just asked if my scar was healing well and said he wouldn't look unless I asked him to, so I didn't

Mostly just talking and asking the usual questions

i had a smear at mine it was she also checked my insides had gone back to normal, and put me on the pill

Mine asked how I was feeling, looked at my PND questionnaire and that was about it, I was expecting an examination esp as I have had to go back to docs cos I wasn't healing properly. But thankfully he didn't do one as he was about 12 and I would have been v embarrassed! Although after a forceps delivery in theatre I didn't think anything would embarrass me again!!
