6 week check up

Could someone please tell me what happens at the 6 week check up please.

hi hun... it depends what sort of birth you had i had stitches but my doctor didn't wanna see them...he mainly checked keeley over

The 6 week check up should be for you not for the baby. My doc took my blood pressure, felt my tummy to make sure my uterus had gone back & asked all sorts of questions. He didn't want to have a look at my stitches, just asked if everything was ok.
He talked about contraception (child birth was enough to stop me from ever having sex again! ) and that was about it.

they check over the baby too...testes, legs, hips, heart rate and ask how you are, take your blood pressure etc...
