6 week check

Hi all,
Just wondering what to expect in my 6 week check with the GP? Will there be an internal examination? Blood pressure? Etc? Thanks to anyone who has had their check. (I just like to be prepared before I go!)

My last check was nearly 8yrs ago! (due next week for me and this bubs)

They dont do an internal examination (or they didnt yrs ago!)

They may do bp will prob feel your stomach to check womb going back to normal

It was mostly a lot of questions to see if you have PND at all, probably also ask about contraception too,

Mine was a combined one with LO. It was basically just questions to make sure all was well and a discussion about contraception. After that a thorough check up of Chloe. The whole appointment took around 20 mins. But I'm sure different areas do it differently. Xx

hey hun ,

with me they took my BP , also they felt my tummy , asked about contraception and just asked general questions about how i was getting on .
