Mental health check?!

Not sure if i've put this in the right section but... When i last saw my HV she said at the 6 week check she does a 'mental health check', i've never heard anything abut this, was just wondering if someone could tell me what this involves?!

I THINK that could be where they ask you to complete a questionnaire to see if you have or are at risk of having post natal depression.
If it is this then it's just a list of about 12 questions about your current mood which you should answer honestly so that they can assess you.

i had it, like Lucybee said.. just 12 questions about how your feeling to access whether your at risk of pnd.. really just so if signs are there HV can get you support you may need.

i got 12 on mine which was apparently borderline so they retested me 4 weeks later.

then i got 14...
