Can anyone tell me why oh why Oran has started waking up between 5 & 5.30am?

He goes to bed the same time, his daily routine (i.e sleeps and food) hasn't changed.

Any idea?

Yesturday he stood up at 4am and started yelling ''cat...ussss.....cat.....usssss'' so I gave him some usss (juice) as figured he was probably thirsty, so this made him just go ''cat.........ccccaaaaat....cat...mamamamamamam....cat'' so I glared at him and said ''lie down and go to sleep please'' so he did and I was like  he listened to me....then at 5am he stood up and threw his dummy at my head and wouldnt go back to sleep. I know he is still tired though as he comes in to bed and he fidgets and fidgets but his eyes keep rolling and half shutting, just as I think he is going back off and shut my eyes he sits up or something. In the car and hour later when OH takes him to nannas he always falls asleep (not something he did when he was getting up at 7) so he is clearly still sleepy when he is getting up

I would love to know that answer too :x Nathans been getting up at 5-5.30 since boxing day. Nothing changed so I have no idea. Hoping when the clocks go forward this weekend it sort him out cos I'm knackered

Yeah this is what I said to OH although he responded with ''Don't talk bollocks'' lol but I think it may be as I said to OH. If he wakes up and its still pitch black he turns over and goes back to sleep - I know this cause I hear him sometimes - but if he wakes up and its light and he can see everything he thinks its morning so is waking???

Could do with Black out blinds but we should be moving in about 4 weeks so no go till then!

Thanks though S&A - I think your right

well I think its the daylight issue as now its not getting light till later (temporarily) cause of the clocks change as he was still asleep when I left for work at 6.30 this morning  - mind you it will be lighter soon so will go down hill again till we get black out blinds ho hum lol
