5.5 weeks, low fetal HR

Hi all, Just trying to hear some experiences and success stories. Just had my first prenatal appointment and they did a transvaginal ultrasound at 5.5 weeks. The heartbeat was 86 bpm. My dr said the heartbeat could have just started to beat and will repeat ultrasound in 10 days.

Thoughts??

that sounds about right to me, I think it starts slow then speeds up from around 6 weeks, and 5.5 weeks is very early to see a heart beat so that all sounds good to me!

Thank you for replying! Much appreciated. I was thinking this as well and hearing other people say it is calming. These early transvaginal ultrasounds are so nerve-wracking!
