Can anyone give me advice or info about what might come next? I have had my fourth miscarriage today, but this time I have been on a much higher dosage of folic acid and aspirin, we had intentions of starting progesterone tablets and claxin injections when we got a heartbeat but we haven't got that far. Other miscarriages have been about 8-10 weeks this one is only 5.

Have you had all the miscarriage testing done? If not then that could be worth doing. I use progesterone too after multiple miscarriages but I start them after ovulation and would continue to 12 weeks, I would ask that they prescribe them to you to use earlier than when you see a heartbeat.
So sorry for your losses, I know just how devastating it is xx

Sorry I know nothing on the topic but just wanted to show my support xx

Thank you ladies, I have had all the testing done and everything was normal.

Why are they giving you clexane and aspirin if all is normal? Is it just precautionary? I was told at my recurrent miscarriage clinic that taking aspirin when there is no need for it ,can increase miscarriage rates by 20%. I didn't even ask about it but I am guessing its something women often ask about. The thing is, loads of women take it on here and go on to have their babies so who knows. I would definitely ask for progesterone suppositories to take from ovulation though, I always lost my pregnancies between 5-8 weeks but on last pregnancy, it was the only one where I have used progesterone and baby developed fully, the miscarriage happened at 12 weeks due to it being a rare type of pregnancy, we really think the progesterone helped xx

So sorry about your losses. I had 4 mc and for #5 &6 went on heparin, aspirin, progesterone, steroids combination. It really depends on your consultant and what they believe aboit mc, the research is so mixed and even the world's top mc docs disagree on treatment plans. I did have a clot in my leg yrs ago so they went for treating me as clotting prob. For #5 I started all tx after ov, then #6 I did from bfp at 11dpo. I've just had my second baby. Feel free to message me any more specific questions, but bear with me as still in hospital with new baby!

Thank you so much and huge congratulations on your precious baby. Hope you are both doing well.

Have you had all the miscarriage testing done?

thats i also want to suggest. Mcs might be caused by aneuploidies, personally me know the diagnostic technique as PGS-NGS 360

I don't know anything about mcs but wanted to say I am so sorry for your losses and that I am here to support you too.

I do find it strange, however, that they wanted to wait until after they found a heartbeat to give you progesterone. I had these in the TWW when I had IUI - can't they do that and you just continue taking it if you get a BFP (as I would have done)? It wouldn't do any harm at all. Xxx
