4D scan

Hi guys, Does anyone know how you can find out where the closest place to you is to have a 4D scan, how much it costs, how to book etc? My dad is giving me my christmas money early so I want to book one in for about 28 weeks but not sure how to go about doing it or where they are!! Im so happy coz Ive really been wanting one but there is no ay me and OH could afford it as we are saving for so many other things!!

try tying in google '4d scan' and your area and see what it comes up with, otherwise check out Bupa as lots of their places do it.

Yes, just google 4d scan (with or without your area as there are some national chains where you can see if they have a branch near you).

Mine said wait until you have had your anomaly scan before booking though. Mine is a week on Sunday - yay!

Hi there,

I would just google it, that's what I did. I had mines done at 24 weeks and got fantastic pictures, but the Consultant said that he could get better ones at 28 weeks and I am getting to go back (free of charge) for some more pics in 2 weeks time! It was an amazing experience - definately go for it! Mines cost 170 pounds for a one hour appointment and this includes 3D pictures and a 4D DVD of your scan (which is great for showing family and friends). I also found it very reassuring as the Consultant did a lot of checks (heart, brain, measurements, blood flow etc). Good Luck!
