Just booked our 4d scan for Saturday morning.
We weren't going to have one but caved. We had one with Olly but because we were team yellow we had to go back 3 times because she couldn't get the correct view. We also used a small independent company, we were waiting an awfully long time before our appointment time before we got in for the scan. We are using baby bond this time .. Can't wait !!

Our appointment is 10am on Sat morning :-)

Bet you can't wait! We had them with our other two. I think its amazing what you can see. I'd like one again but we actually want to stay team yellow this time and I'm worried that it will be hard not to find out by mistake.

Bunny we had a 4d scan just recently and we were asked if we wanted to know if it was a boy or girl. We had said we were undecided and they were very careful to make sure to avoid the area unless we asked specifically to see.

I am really tempted to get one too. There is a deal on near us and I just need to convince DH that it's a good idea. I keep worrying they have my gender wrong and my pink nursery will be wasted haha x

I want to see what she looks like haha.
And I'm measuring a bit behind but the midwives arnt hugely bothered so it's for my own sanity really.

So went back for a rescan this morning and we saw nothing :-(
Baby so tucked into my pelvis and cuddling against the placenta.
We a quick glimpse of half her face yesterday and nothing today. The midwife suggested calling baby bond in the morning and they may offer me another scan, it's just £100 is a lot of money to see nothing

Some private places offer another scan or part refund.
Hope annoying!! Grrr xx

I'm going to call them first thing and explain. Even the midwife today couldn't believe it - she even had me running down the street and doing star jumps to try and get her to move but she wouldn't. She said that the midwife in her is telling me she's in a great position ready to engage for birth but for a scan she's In the worst position ever.
I don't think they will offer me another scan going on what the midwife said, she said they update notes after each client and will explain absolutely nothing was seen. A partial refund would probably be a better option

Our little girl was in a rubbish position for her 4d scan & we went for a walk, moved around loads etc but then the cord was in front of her face. We got to go back for a rescan & was a bit better, some babies just don't perform though! I would've been disappointed if they hadn't offered a rescan after paying all that money though.

This bubba was far more cooperative luckily x

Nope, they said their policy was 2 scans and that's it
They also said I should have received a growth report, which I didn't.
I reviewed a few more pictures and the report yesterday in the post. I'm just going to write it off, it's nobody's fault.
I would have liked to try again this week to see if she has moved slightly but they said I'd have to pay for sonographers time

Xx
