4 weeks late blood test BFN

Hi Girls,

So im nearly 4 weeks late, I went for a blood test and rang the doctors today only to find out it was negative, Are blood tests accurate? I don’t know what to do now.

Ask for an ultrasound! i love my doctor i didnt even have to ask him i just went in and he sent me for a blood test and also booked me for an ultrasound (different one depending on what the results are). Now im jumping everytime the phone rings!

I didn’t speak to the doctor, I rang and spoke to the receptionist and asked if my results had come back and she said yes and its negative. I’m not sure what to do now though.

Sorry you didn't get the right results, its devastating isn't it, Did you speck to your doctor? What has he told you to do? Im going to go back to the doctors next week to find out whats happening.

I booked an ultrasound but its not until april 13th. I wonder if AF will come before then. Is it crazy that im googling false blood tests? lol

At least you will know for definite when you go for a ultrasound, Im going back to the doctors next week, If i haven't had my AF by next week i would of missed 2 periods, Its really frustrating now.

yeah same for me. next AF should be coming next friday. have u heard of anyone having a false blood test as late as we are??

Yes someone on here said she had a false blood test, She didn't know she was PG untill she went for a scan and she was 9 weeks. I know blood test are quite accurate but they is some people can get false negatives. Im just fed up of waiting around, Im going out for my friend Birthday Saturday night and i dont know if i should take it easy or let my hair down,lol.
