Tell me... Are 3-wheelers better for off road generally ? I guess if they have big 3wheels for the terrain they arent as lightweight, is that right ?

For walking on canal towpaths, round local lakes, woodland - needs to be 3-wheels right ?

I'm after lightweight and offroad (3 wheels i think) - for my 3mnth old...

Thanks,

I think it's best with any pram to go in the shop and just have a try and feel and just ask them if there are better for off road. Both my maclaren XT and my travel system from kiddicare are awful offroad. You can always say you are going to have a think about it and then order it cheaper online ;)

With my older two kids I had a mountain buggy which was great. It is quite heavy to be lifting in and out of a car, but it feels so light to push. I don't know how they've engineered it, but with one hand I could push it easily, steer and also get it off and back up curbs. I've still got it in the shed so as soon as I get a chance I'll be cleaning it up for the school runs.

There are usually lots on eBay
