3rd time lucky!

Hi all,

I had my 20 week scan yesterday and thank fully everyting was fine with the little one very very happy and feel like i can relax more now!

Although as some of you may no we went for a 4d scan 3 weeks ago and was told we were having a boy (it looked very clear from the pics) so i've been out shopping bought paint for the nursery things were coming along great, so yesterday i asked the lady to confirm the sex just to double check and she said girl!! I think she could tell from my and my OH's face that we were shocked so she said she would look again so i had a wiggle and a walk to wake him up and then she decided it was in fact a boy! I was just still in shock so when i left the room i asked her if she was 100& sure it was a boy and all she said was i think so!!

I no i shouldnt let it worry me as i was so so happy that everything was fine with baba but for some reason it really got to me and i was sad that this is my last scan and the last time i will get to see him before he arrives and it felt like the joy had been took out of it and the day had been ruined! Anyway i had a little cry to my OH and decided a few hours later that i wanted another scan to confirm he is a boy and to stop me stressing for the next 19 weeks!

So were going for another scan today at 6:30 fingers crossed they say boy! i feel stupid doing this but it's putting my mind at rest- i havent told any friends or family incase they think i'm stupid but i am really looking forward to seeing his little heart beat again!! xx

We have it confirmed he is defo a boy! we had a little bit of the scan in 4D and he stuck his tongue out! very cute! x

I know of someone that was told she was having a girl, she couldn't wait to start buying, got loads of pink stuff only to find out her LO grew a penis!! She's lucky as the shops have let her exchange the girls stuff for boys!

I no someone that had the same thing happen to them and she said it was a nightmare taking all the stuff back! thats why i had to be sure! lol x
