3bedroom maisonette hmmm shall i take it?

My MIL came round yesterday as she was passing and my OH showed her my daughters room and said this is all the baby stuff (which takes half the room up and its not even unpacked yet!) And she said about needing 3 bedrooms, which i no already but im renting this place till august but i have to give my notice in june! Well she then said the maisonnette next door to her is up for rent as the man has just been evicted due to not paying rent and they no the landlord so she said if i want it they will ask him if i can move in in august.

I like the idea of living there as its right by bellas school its 3 bedrooms and will be like a proper home. Just i dont like the fact of living next door to my MIL althought they are trying to move soon. And what if i give in my notice and he has someone move in there before

Haha, my MIL`s house is up for sale they were going to be moving this month but the sale fell through but tey are hoping to be out by end of the year.
Just found out that the place might not even be up for rent haha. Will find out soon hopefully and maybe get a viewing as im not sure what its going to be like anyway. im just thinking its closer for my daughter to go school and it means a room for baby x

Haha! Thanks. I been told i can view it and the bloke would like me to move in there as its guarenteed money but the tenant hasnt moved out yet and he hasnt been paying rent since xmas but its a private rent ie it isnt through estate agents so hes got trouble trying to get him out so hoping he moves out by next weekend as i have to give in my notice here by the 6th :/ x

Only if she is def moving - familiarity breeds contempt - I have experienced that more than once where a MIL is concerned!

Totally agree - I would go for it if she is def moving - if not, I reckon that would be waaaay to close for comfort xxx

They are deff moving as they dont get along with there neighbours the other side of them plus they want somewhere smaller as its a 3bed and theres only the 2 of them lol x

I got a phone call about it but the rents too much so i cant afford to move there so just going to stay here till i can afford a 3bed x
