38+6 midwife appt

Everything fine and got my stretch and sweep booked for my due date next Thursday! Soooo excited and a little nervous! Hoping LO comes before then but if not deffo hopin the sweep brings me on! Pointless thread but just exciting that after getting my bfp in October I'm FINALLY almost meeting my little boy love him so much and can't wait for a cuddle xxx

Spammy - I find midwives appointments so exciting now I'm getting closer, I never thought I'd be so excited about hearing I'm gonna have a sweep! Haha.

Lolly85x - yeah in my area u get a sweep on ur due date and then one a week later!

i was going to say the same - I will be 38 + 5 at my midwife appt tomoro, should i be asking for a sweep then or do they just go ahead and book it?

Most mw's won't do a sweep until u are 40+7 weeks, although if ur lucky u might get one on ur due date. Xx

Had my 38+6 appt today, she booked me in next for 40+4.and said a sweep wud prob be offered ifno signs beforehand x
