38/39w midwife appointment

well, i'm gutted...

I've just come back from my 38/39w appointment (i'm 38+6 today), and baby seems to have disengaged him/herself completely!!

everything else was fine and baby is doing well. I was just convinced that this sprog was coming early but the midwife said that I'll easily go overdue, but I don't want to get near an induction, as I was sorting of looking at a waterbirth...

My OH is trying to be all nice and sympathetic cos he knows i'm upset but he doesn't get it, he just tells me what a good job i'm doing at being pregnant (which is nice, obviously). but it doesn't help or make things any easier...

I guess I'm just fed up and i want my baby. We've tried EVERYTHING, but it doesn't seem to be happening!!

My friend was told by the midwife that her baby would definately be overdue, she ended up having her 10 days early
