34 week scan

Hi there lovely ladies, how are we all?
Quick question, I saw my consultant on monday and coz of hypertension they are giving me another scan at 34 weeks (Yay get to see bubs again!!) and she also said about a doppler to see if he is getting enough blood. Has anyone had this and do you know what it entails? I think it is different than the doppler that is used to measure his heart beat as she did that herself and surely wouldnt send me away to have another one???
Im not really stressed out about it as I dont have really high blood pressure but just unsure what it all involves!!
Any advice would be greatly appretiated!!

hi ive been goin 4 extra scans recently 4 babys growth and theres a thing theyve been doin durin the scan where theyve been lookin at the blood flow through the cord,it comes up coloured on the screen and they put the sound mode on and u can hear it and a chart comes up on the screen showin the blood pumpin through,dont kno if this helps but i think this is what they'll pr obably do hun xxx

Oh right, that sounds like what they were describing!! Doesnt sound too scary either!! Doctors dont exactly like to explain much do they??
