I have been given the 5th of january as my due date after much confusion. I have never had a missed period and unless i was pregnant and My edd was the 11th of december after a posotive test by my dates. Obviously they are right but im absolutely huge and sore. My bump has dropped he is now head down and i was measuring 32 weeks 2 weeks ago would you question this or would you trust the doctors. I was told i was due to have jodie on the 15th of may 2006 by my dates she was due the 29th of april and was born onthe 29th of april. the only thing that is making me think that i might not be as far is the scan. Help xxxxx

i have no idea!!

I know the date i conceived (it could not of been ealier as i was away!!) but they gave me a different date!

Im 33 Weeks & My Babys Been Head Down For As Long As I Can Remember So I Wouldnt Rely Too Much On That Factor :)

Babies come when they come. My fundal height (yesterday) was 27 cm (it was 29 a few days ago) but my bump has all of a sudden just dropped because little miss has taken it upon herself to descend into my pelvis. I can feel her very heavy down there and I can feel her jumping against my bladder and colon when she has hiccups or pushes with her feet against my rib cage. I've been getting bad period pains, and a dull backache as well as my cervix is soft and squidgy... plus tones of cm today (see this is TMI :puke: )...

I know I am not wrong with my dates... I might be a week out but there is no way I was pregnant before hand, or anywhere close to a due date because of the scans... Second babies are supposed to deliver earlier but also we might just be more aware of the labour symptoms because we've been here and done that before, but I have heard of women who have been 2cm dilated at 27 weeks and not have their babies until 38 weeks. As I said babies just come when they want to and if you can make it beyond 28 weeks you know your LO has a good chance of survival.

I found out that my lo was head down at my 28 week appointment with my midwife and still is not engaged at 36 weeks.

I wouldn't get too worried about it babes.

I have heard of peoples fundal heights being all over the place and many people say not to pay too much attention to them. xx

thanx ladies. I suppose he comes when he's ready. it's just they have changed my dates so much i feel no trust. Hes kicking and moving thats the main thing.
