Evening ladies,
Have had a very pregnant lady day today! Had my second early scan this morning. I was sooo nervous, teary and feeling sick with nerves. I'm finding it hard to accept that something good has finally happened for us and keep ecpecting it to go wrong. So was fully expecting to be told it's little heart had stopped beating. But there s/he was, waving away to us and twitching around loads. Was amazing the difference from the scan we had 2 weeks ago. S/he has gone from a blob to a proper little person with arms and legs - was amazing! They've put me back 5 days so my due date had changed again, which sucks but hey ho! Was so relieved to seeing the little bean was ok that i don't mind the EDD change too much.
Then in the afternoon we went to another hospital for our booking in appointment. Had the usual blood test, height/weight taken and medical questions. Chatting to the midwife has finally made it seem real, not just something my husband and i are imagining lol
