Hey guys just got back from growth scan and lucky all is well with little lady. Except she is breech, I thought I felt a big movement about week ago felt horribly uncomfy and my whole stomach moved. They say they don't worry till 32 weeks, any else experienced this before or no what I can do to help get her to turn? X

Glad everything is well with your little lady hunny.
Little missy is back to back and im sure the exercises are the same as they are to move baby to the best birthing position, the best one is to get on all fours with your bum higher, maybe try a birthing ball too x x

Oo thanks m2a, I'll give anything a go to get her in right position . When will u find out if ur lo has turned? X

My next appointment is 20th Sept so not till then but im going to carry on the excercises till she arrives just incase she goes back again.
Another one is to make sure you dont lie on your back or slouch back when your sitting down, its horribly uncomfortable not been able to but it will all be worth it if they move x x

Hey,

My LO has been breech for about 10-12 weeks now, I can't really remember, it was just after my anomaly scan... I felt the big movement and just knew he'd turned, and MW confirmed it at my 25 week appointment. Here I am now at 32 weeks and he's still breech!

I had my most recent appointment with MW about a week and a half ago and she said it's nothing to worry about just yet, and they don't even act on it until 36 weeks, when they start looking at options (i.e. ECV or c-section) because they still have plenty of time to turn. Between 36-37 weeks is when they'd to the ECV if you want it, otherwise it'd be a c-section from 37 weeks onwards. Or some hospitals will let you try for a breech birth, but quite a lot of hospitals don't like doing that.

Hope that helps, I wouldn't worry yet, you're only 29 weeks so you have aaaaages for LO to turn

xx

Thanks ft90 that helps loads. Hope ur lil one turns for u soon x

Glad I could help, just wish I had some tips of trying to get them to turn! I'm just chilling, if he turns in the next 3 and a half weeks, so be it, otherwise we'll see! Don't think he'll budge, I think he's comfy like this haha!

xx

I'm 32 weeks now and my LO has been breech at every other scan since the anomaly scan at 20 weeks (I get regular growth scans). She'd be head down at one scan then breech at another then head down again and when I went for my MW appointment this Monday she was transverse lol. I was told not to worry about it at all as she'll tend to settle head down as she grows bigger (the head will weigh her down apparently!).

I can honestly feel her go from head down to breech to transverse at least once a day so there must still be plenty of room in there. I really wouldn't worry about it. I actually read on several fetal development websites that the baby will usually be breech at your stage because they're more comfortable that way and will turn head down at any time up to the actual birth.
