As most of you already know I found out at 15w6d that I am having another :blue: bundle.

now all this week I have been worrying because people have been saying to me "I still think you are having a girl", Originally I did want a girl but I suppose you can't pick and choose you get what you are given and either like it or lump it.

I haven't bought anything for Cabhan yet apart from a 3 piece set and a little outfit so all in all I have spent £6 as my Grandma got him the 3 piece set, I am now concerned though that when I go for my NHS scan next friday that I am going to get told I am having a :pink: bundle.

What would you do? I'd be so disheartened as I am so used to having a boy now and well and truly in love with he's name

P.S Lynette if you are reading this you will know what I mean about wording things hahaha

Lol I don't think there's anything wrong with how u word things! My 20 week scan in next wed and m goin to find out the sex but even when I find out I think I'll always wonder if it's right or not! I know a few people who were told the wrong sex xxxx

I had a 4D scan at 15w6d though and they did tell me that it wouldn't be 100% right, i'm just scared incase it wasn't right because not only will i be upset I would have wasted £89

Do 4d ones not have more a chance of being right cos they're clearer if you know what I mean? And look back at my last post there lol there's a few spelling mistakes in it ha u aren't the only 1 xxxx

Yes they do have more chance of being right but the thing is, when the sonographer told me i was having a boy and shown me in 4D there were just balls or what looked like a chubby flu too :/ haha

Lmao a chubby flu. At least u had the 4d experience though :) I'd love one but we can't afford it xxxx

O don't worry about 4D scans. I had mine too early Cabhan just looked like a blob of playdoe cos he was so small :(
I couldn't afford it either hun, I sold my blackberry to pay for my scan:roll:

I've an old iPhone floating round, might sell that lol but I can't justify using any money on an extra scan at the min, especially when I can use it to buy stuff for them like clothes. And the cheapest one I could find over here is £119 :/ xxxx

I have lots of family in Monaghan :D it's about an hour and 30 mins from me though lol xxxx

I know what you mean, i was convinced i was having a blue bundle and so was alot fo people then at 20 weeks i was told i was having a girl which was a shock as family were saying can see you coping better with a boy etc etc....
Still theres a littkle doubt in my mind specially when people say are you sure its not a boy your very neat... Its frusrating..
Hope you get the news you want xxx

Hi Charlene, I've got good winky shots and I still have the same worry and I've bought loads of clothes!! :)

They actually say 2d is better than 3d for gender so the nhs one should be fine.

I had a 3d gender scan for £50 in the northwest at reassure 3d if you decide you want one in the future, they were really nice!:)

Good luck for your scan.

Xx

I've been told by so many people about wrong gender scans I've decided not to buy much anyway!!! Not just one way either! Apparently my friend has a friend who got told a boy and ended up being born a girl after a 3d scan as well as an Nhs one but they're explanation was the cord was probably what they mistook for boy bits!!!

They are the pics..

Awww lovely pics :)

When we went for a scan on wednesday, the consultant who was doing it said not to go overboard on pink, as a woman had given birth to a boy this week after being told it was going to be a girl and had spent a fortune on pink clothes etc etc.

I think that we're going to just stay fairly neutral and buy a few little girly bits. That way, if she does turn out to be a he, it won't be any big loss.

I think if you've seen a shot of willy and balls then thats fairly conclusive. I wouldnt be too worried to be honest x
