20 week scan

Hi.
I've had my 20 week scan today, I'm exactly 20 weeks. It seemed to go really well but they said I need to go back in 2 weeks for another scan as the head is measuring a bit small.

Has anyone else had this?
It's still measured on the 9th centile so doesn't seem that small.

Hey I had mine today too, I have to o back at 30 weeks because of an abnormal kidney, am sure your little one it just due a growth spurt, keep us updated xx

I'm sure everything is fine, as Dinky said, LO is probably due a growth spurt any day now x

The head circumference measurements are compared to a chart (although some ultrasound machines do a calculation) to tell you whether it's right for your dates or not, but my sonographer said even if it's a few mms off it can change your dates by up to a week! So if baby is a wriggler or a hider (like mine!) then getting accurate measurements are a total nightmare.

Thanks. Yes it was a wriggler! Wouldn't let us find out the sex.
I've been having a read on net and forums and it does seem like nothing to worry about.

Guess its just keeping me on my toes! Hehe.
