Hi. Im 20, going on 21 years of age. I've been with my partner who is 35, for over 7 months now and we have made it no secret that we would like to start a family together. He also has a 6 year old son so getting pregnant would not be strange ground for him as he's been there before. we have been having unprotected sex for the past 5-6 months and every month that has went by, i have been un able to conceive. i know i am capable as 2 years ago i fell pregnant but due to it not being the right time i went through an abortion which still to this day i regret deeply.
I'm now two weeks late this weekend, but at the beginning of the i could a pregnancy test and the results came back negative. i have a few symptoms such as, bloated stomach, backache, headache, sore breasts, mood swings, cramps and i think i may be constipated. i am worried as if i am not pregnant, then yes my period could still be on its way, it could be something else. a trip to the GP would give me the answer im looking for but i feel i'm wasting my time when i visit.
is anyone else in the same situation or has been?
Any advice would be great.

All of you symptoms sound positive and being two weeks late is a good sign. So many people say that they didn't get their positive test till 6 weeks on etc(i know I didnt) so there is till hope. I would get yourself a really good test, first response and do a test with the first wee of the morning.
I know how it feels to be late and have lots of symptoms for a test to tell you no!!

I really hope you get a :bfp:! Good luck.

xx

I am 4 days late getting lots of pg symptoms but getting bfn, something should show up on a hpt by now.

hey hun! it took me 5-6 months to get pregnant and 3 weeks late to come up with positive pregnancy test! even when tests came up it was still a faint line for a few days! i found leaving it 3 days and trying a good quality hpt like clear blue or firat response a good good thing to do, or get it confirmed by your doctor as your showing all the signs! good luck x
