Hello ladies
congratulations to you all on your pregancies  . My husbvand and I were trying for 2 1/2 years before we got lucky. we are over the moon
had no idea pregnancy symptoms would kick in quite like they have
got hyper emesis and no one else seems to know what it is, needless to say i'm being sick everywhere, even been in hospital a while because of dehydration. canty cook anything cause it all makes me gag, my belly button popped out last week, i have a dark line of fine hair down my tummy and have a very noticeable bump... i'm only 12 weeks!!!!
how early did you all start to show and how have your symptoms been?
any qadvice for a first time mum? :oooo::oooo:

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your pregnancy! :yay:

So sorry about the hyperemesis though... I have a few friends who have also had it really badly and been hospitalised. I hope the sickness gets a bit better once you're into the 2nd trimester.

You'll find loads of support on here from people who have had similar experiences. I was lucky and my symptoms were quite mild with both my boys, and disappeared after about 13 weeks both times.

I didn't have what I'd call a bump until maybe 16-17 weeks but my trousers were definitely far too tight by the time I got to 12 weeks! x

clothes are annoying, i'm WAY too small for maternity clothes but my trousers wont do up. i end up having to walk around with them undone, covered with a baggy tshirt so no one sees :P

Welcome and congratulations :)

My friend had very bad sickness, not hospitalised but she has so far lost a couple of stone and she's about 22 weeks now.

Lucky she had it to lose!

She had some medication which really helped a lot until it finally stopped just recently.

Hiya  sorry to hear about your sickness, hope it gets better for you soon!! And congrats on your pregnancy!!

Oh no you've got it really rough. Hope you start to feel better soon xx

and welcome xx

Me and my OH are really trying hard to get pregnant, I have had one BFN and we didnt cope well, I am really hoping this month will be the one, my breasts are swollen, I have been getting stomach cramps and all the rest of it, my CD is the 14th, but my OH's mother told us the other day, that he was three negative pregnancy tests! so now I am unsure whether to take another and another and another! help ?

 Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome to the Forum - I hope your sickness improves! :)

Kole - you might get a bigger response if you posted in TTC :) but Hi there to you too!

Hi CeeCee
Congratulations!! You must be completely hyper!
With regards to your hyperemesis, you have my sympathy. I myself suffered badly with my 2nd son, all i could eat was dry toast! But you wont have long now till it passes (usually about 16wks), although it may return during the mid 34+ week mark.
My advice for you with redards to how fast your showing would be to invest in some strech mark oil, although some people dont consider it worthwhile, i really do, I used it early on in my second pregnancy and developed no more marks even though i was alot bigger.
I started to show about10 weeks both times and i couldnt have been prouder!
Get flashing that bump in some gorg maternity tops and dresses!!
New Look always has a wide range and fair prices.
let me know how things progress!
You will be fine,
in a few weeks you will feel the baby moving! how exciting xxxx
