1st cycle of clomid, what days did you take it on?

Hi ladies,

Im just waiting for AF to start on the clomid, just wondering what days you ladies took it on? My doctor advised me to take it days 2-6. Just waiting for AF now

Mine said 2-6 but I didn't get the prescription til day 3 so did 3-7 if not successful will be doing 2-6 next month xx

It depends what time of day af arrived, if early morning 2-6, the days it arrived midday onwards I did 3-7 and felt this resulted in stronger ovulation for me.

If we go for another baby and need clomid again I will go straight for 3-7.

Thanks ladies, was just wondering. I tried Soya isoflavones this month and thought they had done nothing. But according to Fertility friend I ovulated 11 days ago, on CD40! So im currently in my tww, but I am sceptical to this as I always have sore nipples as soon as I've ovulated and have had nothing what so ever off them, also my temp has been really up and down and I have two dips below the coverline,

we only BD 4 days before O and on O day as we didnt know I was going to ovulate that late lol too so I doubt that was enough, BD plenty of times outside that window but didnt blooming know! so we are just waiting for AF to arrive now! Been a long 5 years but hopefully we get some luck on the next cycle!

I jut started metformin three days ago too, so he said 2-6. Fingers crossed we get some luck, I'll be happy if I ovulate to be honest! xx

Thanks. Still waiting for AF to arrive so we can start the clomid. On CD75 now. Spoke to GP a fee days ago and he wants to "wait ans see what happens in the next few weeks"

Ridiculous, go back and ask for something to induce a bleed or you could be waiting ages if your cycle has gone awol. I'm surprised your clinic didn't offer when they prescribed clomid, mine did. Nothing is more frustrating than finally getting the drugs and not being able to start!

I know. They did offer but my cycles are usually 30ish days with no ovulation. I rarely have long cycles like this so i said i dont need it. Gonna ring the gp again monday and

Ooh let me know how you get on with it. Next month is going to be my first chlomid cycle, I'm taking it 2-5

My consultant has just started me on Clomid (5th round at 150mg) without a period. Usually they bring on a period for me.

This is following a very early misscariage two months ago and no period since.

Anyone done the same? X
