18 weeks pregnant second baby - no movement

Hi I'm 18 weeks with my second baby and not yet felt any Movement my midwife said at my 16 week check that it would be any day now but still nothing , I am slightly overweight for my height so don't know if that anything to do with it?

Anyone else been the same?!

I would try not to worry. I'm 18 weeks and have only felt the occasional prod in the last few days (and that's stopped now, I'm overweight). They say you'll feel it earlier 2nd baby but I don't think that's always true. Do you know where your placenta is?

I think the placenta is at the back

Just try and remember they've still got lots of space at this stage. Sure we'll both regret wishing for this once we are getting rib kicks!! x

22 weeks with number two, felt my daughter from 15 weeks so was expecting the same with this one, but it's mainly been the last couple of weeks I've felt movement.

I was 24 weeks when I felt my daughter move. I'm now 17 weeks - nothing X

The sonographer who did my 12 week scan said that the placenta was at the front of my tummy, so I might not feel movement as soon as I would of otherwise. I do t know if this is the same for you
