Jess won't drink cows milk at all, she'll take a sip, either from bottle or cup, but that's it. I've tried it warm, cold but no luck.
She's still wanting a 6am bottle (7oz) and a 7pm bottle (6oz) but won't touch anything other than her aptamil. I've tried mixing it with cows milk, an oz then more gradually but she knows!
She eats lots of dairy, cheese, yoghurt and has cows milk in weetabix or other cooking but I'm at a loss at what to do with her bottles....
When do they give up on these two?

My nephew wouldn't touch cows milk so they carried on with follow on formula until he was 2! More expensive but they wanted him to have the calcium!

I think they can give them up at any time once their diet it's varied enough so if you feel like she's getting enough from cheese yoghurts etc then no need to for the milk! Xx

My daughter had formula until just before she was 3 because of the very same thing. She point blank refused cow's milk and there was no way I wanted her to stop her milk (even though she has a reasonable diet). At the beginning of the year, I just gave cow's milk another try and she didn't bat an eyelid, just drunk the whole lot down! No formula since.

They don't necessarily give up their milk drinks either. My daughter has a beaker of milk with her cereal in the morning and around 8oz milk at bedtime. My son (18 months) also has milk morning and night; usually approx. 10oz each time. They have a varied diet, but still love their milk.

My son don't drink cows milk, well he does but like your daughter.. Or it has to be mixed with nesquick but even that after a couple of days he won't want that.. Same as when I give him yoghurts or other dairy..And at nearly two I'm eager for my son to be totally getting off his bottle sometime soon.. Milk is in a lot of things and like you said your daughter has it in the weetabix and stuff like that am sure your little one is getting enough dairy in her diet.. I wouldn't worry and focus on getting fluids from other sources in not bottles and get rid of the bottle while she gives you the opportunity!

Have you tried it in a cup instead of a bottle? My lo wouldnt have a bottle once she was 11 months. She would entertain a tommee tippee of cows milk though. I wondered if it was a bit thicker than formula so harder work than formula when sucking it through a teat.

It's probably terrible but my first DD didn't want cows milk at bedtime (it was the only milk she had then) so I got some crusha milkshake stuff and made that. She loved it and I gradually reduced it and she took plain milk fine after a couple of weeks x

My first wouldn't take it for ages. I introduced it by mixing with food like banana, and in her porridge etc. I think we still did formula at night tho. And she did still take formula in day at times.

My second took it fine.

All change now...oldest loves milk, second one won't touch it!
