12 Weeks cant get here soon enough

Hi there girls

How are you all feeling today? I am in work and a bit bored to be honest and wish I was busy cause all I can think about is getting to the 12 week mark. I am so excited about having this baby I am terrified of something horrible going wrong. This is my first pregnancy so all very new to me. I had severe trapped wind the other night and was convinced something terrible was going to happen. Roll on 12 week scan.

hiya congratulations! I think every lady on here is worried about getting to the 12 week mark, but I'm sure everything will be fine! How are you feeling?

Actually feeling fine today, symptoms seemed to have stopped a little. Have been quite nauseus with certain smells but that seems to have gone. Quite tired this afternoon though and work is dragging.

I can't wait for the 12 week mark either.I'm off work on hols at the moment so its really difficult to think about anything else at the minute. I have just started feeling queasy and tired in the last few days though

I went to see the doctor today but nothing exciting happened, he just said the midwife would be in touch around 8 weeks.

Feel really tired and quite sick today. I don't mind though, I'd rather have symptoms than have none and be worrying that something was wrong.

I can't wait to get to week 12, but it seems like years away! The time seems to be crawling by

I'm 11 weeks today and have to be honest and say that there are times when I never thought I would be saying "I am 11 weeks pregnant". It's very exciting and trust me - it'll go fairly quickly although sometimes it feels like forever!

Congratulations! I feel exactly the same way but I think my partner is even worse. I told him we couldn't tell anyone until after the scan at around 12 weeks and he looked crushed!

Same here. We are telling my OH's family after our scan. Can't wait. His Dad lives in Canada so we're going to email him a pic and then call him and say "check your email". It's so exciting. My Dad and sis know (my Mum is no longer with us) and a couple of friends "guessed" but his family live 180 miles away whereas mine are here so it's been easier to keep from them.

Although I can't wait to pass the 12 weeks mark, I am trying to focus on how amazing the experience of pregnancy is.

I am a little apprehensive, but I can't stop thinking about some couples (some in my own family) that never managed to conceive... therefore, whatever happens, I have been growing a human being inside me for 10 weeks: IT IS SUCH A BLESSING!!!! LET'S ALL ENJOY IT AND BE POSITIVE
