11pdo spotting Letrozole

Hi all! This is the second cycle I've been on 5mg Letrozole and I have started lightly spotting again, same as last cycle, on 11dpo. Last cycle I thought I may have had a chemical pregnancy because I had a light positive test, but then negative tests and then AF. The spotting lasted for five days and was very light--and usually just in the morning, and AF was late by four days which was confirmed by OPK+ and bbt temp rise. I never spot before AF--it usually just comes on quickly and with a vengeance . I'm not hopeful since last month nothing happened, but I'm wondering why Letrozole is having this effect on my cycle?

Has anyone had this spotting with Letrozole before?

I don’t spot on letrozole but in my normal cycles I do. If it is something that is happening every cycle on letrozole I wouldn’t be too concerned tbh. I am presuming all your hormone levels were checked and are ok so I would just take it as a pre-AF sign. Lots of women spot during their normal cycles.

Thanks! It only just started happening when I went on a higher dose of Letrozole, so assuming like you say that it's just a normal variation. We are in the grouping of unexplained infertility. According to our results everything is good/normal, which makes it all the more frustrating. Sigh. Sometimes it feels like everyone can get pregnant except us.
