11 weeks old still will only take 2oz every 2 hours

Hi My son Bailey is coming up to 11 weeks old and will still only take a maximum of 2oz every 2 maybe 3 hours at a push, then he refuses it.

It all came to a head on tuesdays I couldnt take it any more he has been on 3 differant feeds and is currently on cow gate ominio 1

My health visitor is now taking it seriously, she now believes I am not over reacting and that he may actually be intolerant to milk and protein as he crys in hunger but struggles to take more then 2 oz at each feed.

I did go to my GP when he was 7 weeks but I was told he is only a baby and to leave him be.

Now a letter is going to her from my health vistor requesting a padeatric assessment and she also spoke with a diatetion who has suggested gluten free milk until this appointment comes through.

I am so pleased I am now being listened too I and so tired from feeding every two hours.

i hun i no how u feel about not being listened to, i always have this problem with doctors, Harley is 11weeks and has 8oz, lets hope they get it sorted for you, how heavy is Bailey?

he weighed 6.4lb at birth at 6 weeks he was 10.4 my health visitor weighed him this week he was 11.12lb so gaining weigh but a little slow.

Bailey is only taking at average of 18-21 oz a day feed

Harley was 6lb at birth and weighs 14lb, hes good hes still feeding through the night thou, hope lil bailey gets sorted soon Dior was hard to feed, she would have 2oz at the most i was on strict orders to feed her every 2hrs day and night else she would be tube fed

Baileys weight at that low, my friends baby is 14weeks old was 7lb 8oz at birth and now weighs 12lb
