    Ear Lobe Expanders...

I didn't mean to be bitchy, but just gave -imho- sound advice, i.e. don't ask for a layman's opinion on a procedure which might well end up with a nasty result if not done right.

    Ear Lobe Expanders...

I think if the piercee wants to have nice tunnel and not end up with something looking like a cat's arse they should go and get it done by a professional. What you're looking for is a taper bar or pin. If you really plan on doing it yourself, at least speak to a professional about the when and...

My baby 'talks' in her sleep...

Mills is currently totally sparked out on my shoulder, snoring slightly and keeps making "eyeyeyeyey" noises. It's totally cute, but I wonder what on earth she's dreaming...

    pancakes without scales!

But is it really cheaper? Flour and eggs is something I always have in the house. Going out to buy extra pancake mix would therefore be extra expense and hassle. If you don't usually stock the ingredients it's something different of course.

Forum Meet - York - April

Can't do the weekend round the 25th. My niece threatened to come over sometime in April, but hasn't given dates yet. Are we looking at midweek or weekend?

    pancakes without scales!

You don't need baking powder if you use sparkling water instead of milk. Buying a ready mix for a batter which only consists of eggs and flour strikes me as slightly sad.

What's Paramore? Gosh, I suddenly feel so old and uncool. On the subject of celebrity crushes, Dave Tennant is quite yummy, methinks.

    returning to work

If you only get SMP, you don't have to return. If they pay more than that you're incredibly lucky (and I'm not jealous in the least :fib: ) and you'll find a clause in your contract regarding how long you'll have to stay with them after.

    Disabled people scare children?

Children usually wouldn't notice. Heck, I often enough haven't noticed that someone had a limb missing until it was pointed out to me.

    first jabs / dry skin

Shopping should be ok. I took Mills to a cafe afterwards and she was her usual happy self. She didn't cry too much at the actual injection either. I think babies kind of take their queue from their mums, though. If you expect them to be upset and act accordingly, they're much more likely to get...

    Smoking and Drinking

I've smoked during pregnancy. Nothing I'm proud of, but I didn't manage to stop, only cut down a lot. However I quit the day I had my daughter and haven't had cravings or owt since. weird how things go. I also drank the occasional shandy or spritzer.
