I sometimes get pains in my pelvis and the physio taught me a really good exercise. If you take a deep breath in and when you breath out you pull in your stomach muscles slowly and hold it for as long as you can (all day if you like). Apparently it helps to lift the baby so it isn't putting...
The physio at my antenatal class is brilliant and has taught us lots of relaxation and breathing techniques that help during labour. She had her baby without pain relief to prove that it could be done so if i were you i would really focus on practicing that kind of thing.
Also, get your OH to...
Check with the midwife if you have any bleeding.
I know that if you have low placenta having sex can cause bleeding so i would let the midwife know just to be sure.

i had bloods done at 28 weeks and was told it was just to check iron levels.
Don't worry about it. If there is a problem they have to tell you so it must be fine.
Maybe your midwife ticked the wrong box or something.

Hi all
Just back from a midwife appt and have a question regarding the baby's heart rate.
At every appt I have had, the heart rate has been between 150-160 bpm (my last appt was 2 weeks ago and was the same).
I had an appt today and the heart rate had dropped to between 120-130 bpm.
Is this...
I was about 21 weeks before I felt the baby move so don't worry if you haven't felt it yet.
My hubbie felt it for the first time around the 25th week. It totally freaked him out at first but he's fine now!

I just eat what i want. I make sure I have breakfast, lunch and dinner and don't think twice about snacking in between. Baby is getting a wide variety of foodstuffs with me!
My mum had 5 kids and never did us any harm!

I made it to Tri 3. Slightly scared now as its the final stretch.
Any advise as to what needs to be done during this Tri e.g when do I start Antenatal classes etc?
Cheers and looking forward to your help in getting through the next few months.

Don't worry unless the midwife/doctor does.
I am nearly 27 weeks and i've just started to get big but still really neat.
It depends on your size and how your body adjusts to it.
When i got my scan at 16 weeks you could hardly see my bump but i was told that the baby was big so goes to show that...
Don't go by breasts not being sore. Mine were only tender for a couple of weeks and have been fine ever since.
I know its hard but try not to worry. There is nothing you can do until your appt.
Good luck.
I had a strop last night and walked out of the house!
I've not had many hormonal outburst but because I'm generally not very emotional I'm finding them quite challenging when I do.
Poor OH!
I was late. I was about 21 weeks before I felt any definite movement.
It feels really weird and you know when you feel it that its your baby and not wind or tummy rumbling.
Mine felt like a pulse or popping. Its great when you feel it.
