I remember things being that bad after my first and he was only 8lb 13 - it did take quite a few weeks before things felt anywhere near normal - this time round (with a 10lb 8oz baby) I already feel almost normal and it is 2 weeks today - :hug: :hug: it will get better
Not a fun time just as well the end result is so worth it :) My first labour was horrific - long and ending with forceps, heavy blood loss and a large episiotomy that broke down - It took a long time to recover but I did - and have since had 3 more babies with much easier labours and speedy...
I measured 38 weeks at 32 so was referred to the hospital who were not overly concerned and reckoned I was carrying an 8lb something baby from previous and size of bump - Megan was born on Sat 10lb 8oz so they were wrong :lol: BUT it was an easy 2 hour delivery with gas and air and no stitches...
spent a happy hour gardening yesterday brought on some irregular contractions all of a sudden they were 6 minutes apart - went to hospital and had baby 45 minutes later - so get weeding girls !! worked a treat :):) 2 hour labour gas and air no stitches and baby was 10lb 8oz!! :shock: :shock...
I've never gone overdue before - dont know how people cope - it's only been 2 days for me and I am climbing the walls - dh is getting impatient (grrr men!!) as he put work on hold for past 2 weeks incase and was sure LO would be here by now so has booked loads of extra clinics and operating...
oooh good luck - I've had 2 37 weekers - first was 8lb13 second 6lb9 - so you'll be surprised how big they can be already - good luck will watch for news :hug: :cheer: :hug:
