Hi everyone
Sookie - that sounds really scary   hpe you are ok, and good luck when you test again!
rom - I absolutely cannot imagine being preggers while looking after a baby!! I am knackered as it is!!
Mind you I have gone from saying I will never have another because of...
I can do any of those dates I think!! :D ( I love being on mat leave!!!!) so I haven't voted.
V - happy to share lifts but I would probably want to take the pram so I'm not carrying baby all the time, and it takes up our whole boot :?
I didn't have colic or reflux to deal with but my LOs weight wasn't going up, no matter how often I fed him or expressed milk - and believe me i tried!! I was getting very sressed and run down too.
Last week I decided to switch to giving some formula and some breast - and i haven't looked back...
I'd be up for a meet too!
I'm just outside Edinburgh.
Can I say let's NOT go to Deep Sea World this time - it is really not worth the money!!
I haven't been out much with baby yet so I don't know the good places to go, but will have a think!!
I sympathise! Had to buy jeans today as fed up wearing the same stretchy black trousers al of the time. I've been trying on my pre preg jeans but basically not a chance of them going over my thighs.
I had to buy 2 sizes up from my normal
I need to start exercising too. And stop...
With my recent experience i have to say I feel a bit let down by the "support" I have had from midwives, health visitors etc. The lack of consistency in advice has been amazing.
Ultimately I was told I am not producing enough milk and was given a ridiculous feeding/expressing regime to follow...
Hi all!
Glad to see everyone is doing well.
Cute baby pics ladies! :D And bumps!!
We haven't taken any pics of Kian this week as he has had bad baby acne :( it's looking a bit better now though.
Sorry I haven't been on this thread much but I have been reading all your posts. I have had a...
just wanted to say i'm in exactly the same boat
can't give you advice as i don't know what to do myself just wanted to let you know you're not the only one!

Well now I am totally confused.
The Bfing advisor has just been. Apparently when she said feed every 2 hours she meant wait 2 hours from the end of each feed. I was timing 2 hours from the start
When I was in hospital i asked whether times were from the start or the end and I was told...
Thanks
Yes V, we have the Tommee tippee bottles that are supposed to be like nipples.
Unfortunately I have to get him weighed on Thursday, health visitor is expecting him. I know you said i can refuse but I'll find out on Thursday how often they would envisage him being weighed...
Well I have had a good think and a talk with DH.
The priority at the moment is to get LO big and strong enough that he can feed for longer / take more on.
That's not happening just now because he isn't getting enough from me.
I am so tired /stressed it's not good for either of us, and I would...
Well I took him to the health centre ad weighed him - he's only put on 30g since thursday.
To be honest at the moment it doesn't seem worth this horrendous regime - which is what it is.
I rang the health visitor number and someone phoned me back, but she obviously can't say when/if it will all...
I'm using a Medela electric pump that the health visitor loaned to me.
I have a manual one of my own, but that would be hard going every feed!
I've decided to just get up at 3am instead of 2 and 4 - unless of course he is letting me know he's hungry.
