    My Announcment ! :)

I thought it was pretty obvious that you were E'sM, afterall, I don't know anyone else on the board who lives in Canada. I don't see why anyone would have any issues with it. Best of luck for the rest of your pregnancy x

For those who know baby's gender...

This may sound like a strange question but how obvious is the baby's gender when you have a scan? I had my 20 week scan this week. Unfortunately OH couldn't make it but he made me promise I wouldn't find out the sex. Being the good obedient wife that I am I didn't ask, but I did ask the...

    Low lying placenta

I agree with Lea. There will be nothing to worry about. I had a week of bleeding at 16-17 weeks, they gave me a scan and said that it was because my placenta was low-lying, ie. covering my cervix. They said it would most probably move up and not to worry. This week I had my 20 week scan and...

    SPD

I had SPD from about 25 weeks when I was pregnant with my DD. My MW referred me to a physiotherapist who gave me a belly support band which took the pressure off my pelvis a bit. I think that this definitely helped as the SPD didn't get any worse (although it didn't get any better until after...

    Leaky drinking cups

Can anybody reccommend a drinking cup with a spout (ie. one of the non-spill ones) that doesn't leak when you're out and about. My DD is 16months old and I've tried the Tommee Tippee ones with the yellow spout, Boot's own one, the Avent magic cup and another one from Waitrose with cartoon...

    worried

It's very normal to have period-like cramps, especially at the time AF would have been due. You may find that you get them again in 4 weeks. Try and relax. Happy and healthy 9 months!xx

When should we stop sleeping on our bellys/backs?

You're not supposed to lay on your back after 12 weeks. On your tummy - I'm not sure. I know that for this pregnancy and when preg with my DD I seem to wake up laying on my tummy regardless of how I fall to sleep. Strange

    Stretching Pains

I've been getting stretching pains on and off since about 7 weeks. They are shorter and sharper than period cramps for me and are sort-of where my bikini line is and also on the sides of my tummy. I would say to try and relax but it sounds so patronizing. However, I know that stress doesn't...

Should i go to hospital..? Update

I wouldn't worry about the jeep ride, the baby is so well protected in the amniotic fluid that it would be absolutely fine. Also, the lack of bump isn't too much to worry about, I know that at 11 1/2 weeks now my tummy is flatter than a few weeks ago when I was really bloated. However, that...
