Great news!!!!

You will be a stresshead in no time lol

I caught him early this morning on my mobile... will put video in pics later. He has come on great today... I just want to eat him. It i just the cutest thing I've ever seen.....awwww!

I am very lucky that we don't have any stairs! Phew!! My only problem will be the older kids' rooms. Loads of tiny things lying about - it will go straight to his mouth.

I can see that there is going to be a positive and negative here!
Positive.... I'll spend less time hanging around the fridge ie consume fewer calories
Negative... Need I say :wall:

I'm off to Haberdashery shop to buy some fabric for his kneeguards. We've got some rough terrain here in Africa....living in caves and all that!! :rotfl:

I had that problem downstairs...we have an arch between the lounge and the dining room and Mason's Lego and cars etc are kept in the dining room. We got a gate and now the lounge is like one big playpen

the thing is you make your home baby safe, then they start crawling so you make it baby safe at that level, then they start walking so you make it baby safe at the level and it goes on like that.

I am ashamed to admit that I have NEVER bought a safety gate in my life! Both older two were born and raised in UK - I just can't remember how I "by-passed" things. We did buy a fire guard though.

We never had stairs either. Biggest hazards were fingers in doors and falling off bed.
Our telly/playroom, is reasonbly safe, but Oscar is going for the wires. I don't care about the remote controls 'cause the telly is seldom on when he's awake.

I'm going to have to see how we go. I can't think of anything that needs to be desperately secured. Is there something I'm missing - what should I be looking out for?

On one thing for sure....

Here in SA, the plug-holes are round... perfect fit for pencils, fingers, you name it. Stupid really - will deffinately get the safety plugcovers.
