One of my major symtoms has been extreme tiredness. Im a nurse so do shift work, but the helpful gits have put me on nights for next couple of weeks....I dont feel the best as its so tiring.

Did anyone else do nights and found they were able to cope?
Is it worth getting a letter from the doctor to recommend work hold off on my nights for a bit.

Its making feel so ill :wall:

Hiya

I'm a nurse too but work in theatres. I have been having the odd day off sick at the moment but mainly because of nausea rather than tiredness. Luckily, my colleagues are very sympathetic and I think working on a ward would be far worse but I think nurses definitely have a hard job of it! Its times like these I wish I worked in an office!

If you don't feel up to it then ask for a letter.

Don't they advise against nights if you're pregnant anyway.

You don't want to be making mistakes when you're tired.

I am not a nurse and work 9 - 5.30 but I am feeling the same. I am extremely tired and keep yawning all the time.. I have had a meeting with my manager and couldn't stop yawning.. she said: " Am I really boring you so much ?" - she actually was but I didn't tell her :rotfl:
