to crochet
I can knit, embroider, patchwork, quilt but never managed to crochet.

This morning I finally picked up crochetting - just a blanket for one of my preg sisters..but at last I can do it :D

Ok - so I sound like your Nan now don't i?

My sister in law can do all this stuff!! I would love to but dont have the patience to try!!

My mum has been trying to teach me how to do it but I just cant get the hang of it!
I can knit, I knitted a pillow, it went a bit wrong but I stuffed it anyway and now I use it to put over my bump when I wear a seatbelt in the car. It makes a big difference comfort wise so my crap knitting skills did come to some good use after all :D

I love knitting - embroidery for when I want to concentrate but knitting for relaxing..I have loads on the go atm - baby cardies and coats for the two LOs due in the family in summer/autumn, a friend due in Nov who is a bit kooky so get to play with colours, ponchos for 2 nieces and goddaughter for Christmas.

But I have to sit down today and finish the beading on a hge embroidery as it was for my Nan's birthday, which was Sunday.

I can't just sit and watch tv or do nothing, so I read whilst watching tv or sew or knit

I like to crochet, I don't do knitting because I'm too slow at it, but crochet grows much quicker!

I know  it's huge already - to knit a blanket that big would take ages.

Can you follow patterns for crochet? I think I'll save that for later  now I know how people who can't knit feel when they look at knitting patterns.

If I ever get my bfp I've promised myself to build up a box full of projects to do case I end up on bed rest again - now I can just make a huuuuuge blanket as well :D

I used to do cross-stitch. I found it quite relaxing till I got a huge knot in the back of it :x .

Just ignore them - when I'm beading cross stitch embroideries I drag the thread all over the back of the work. Once it's framed you can't see anyway. :D

I must confess ........... i am a knitter! - Currently knitting for my brother and sister in law as they are expecting a baby in september. Knitted little hoodies, hats, mittens and currently working my way around knitting a bob the builder jumper for the baby - they know it is a boy.

If ever we have kids thy will have a continous supply of jumpers, cardigans, hats, socks ...... the list could go on and on!
