i was thinking of buying twine and making little homemade labels for them... i know im sad

I wrap pressies in proper brown paper tied with string....I love the way they look.....I'd send Emily to school with her books tied with string if she'd let me....I'm Victorian Mother....

do you have any pics of how you make them look? like any tips? i tried to do it a few yrs ago but i thought they looked rubbish compared to some ive seen

I just use nice brown wrapping paper and raffia string like they use on hand tied flowers sometimes. You know how to tie ribbon round in a parcel style dont you - do that with plenty of raffia and then tie a bow the way where you do 2 loops and then tie them in a half reef knot. Like tying your shoes iykwim? Bet that makes no sense at all.....

I was thinking of starting my xmas cards in a few days.. You don't see the time going in though and there we'll be on xmas eve scribbling the cards and doing last minute wraps lol
