Hi looking for a bit of help and opinions here.

As some of you know we go to sweden quite frequently due to my OH coming from there but next summer we have decided that we will take the usual trip to Sweden in July but we have also been looking at camping in France in June.

My point here is if we do this then lo will be around 9 weeks old.

It is one of these camp sites where the tents are up and there are proper beds and kitchen facilities in them...

Just wondering would you do this with a baby this young in June in france?

need to book it soon as it's an early booking offer which is fantastic...£350 for 10 days in france on a 4star site for 5 of us inclusive of accomodation and ferry crossing.

Do you think this is doable with a young baby or should we pay a few hundred pounds more and go for a cabin with heating and toilet etc...?

Any advise would be happily welcomed.

thank you :)

I can't really help babe, I feel that if you think you could cope then you should do it, as long as baby is warm and dry and you are all able to establish a routine?! But then this is my 1st so you may be better taking advice from someone with experience, we are off on hols for a week to lake district in May when LO wil be only around 6 weeks old, but we're staying ina cottage and we're going with my mom & stepdad and 2 of my sisters - so I am hoping that mom will help me out a bit

We won't go on the walks unless we feel totally comfortable with it, and my mom said she went on hols a few weeks after my bro was born with my dads family and they got on fine with him :cheer:

My family went to Brittany in France with Eurocamp (which I think is the same kind of thing) when my little sister was just 6 weeks old.
My other sister was only 18 months old and me and my brother 8 and 10. Everything went well as far as I can remember. I think the facilities are so modern now that it wouldn't make much difference going in a cabin.
Good luck with whatever you decide!
H
