5 yrs ago I had made the massive decision to change carrers and get a job I had always wanted, not the one I had that was comfortable and easy to do.

10 years ago I was doing my nurse training and was very drunk all the time . I was also really missing a good friend... little did I know at the time he was avoiding contact as he was in love with me and didnt think he had a chance....little did he know in less than a year we would be married and pregnant

15 years ago I had left school and home and was wondering what to do with my life.

5 years ago: I was 18, had just done my A-Levels at college and after leaving, moved down to Devon and spent the remainder of the year working as a Green Coat Entertainer at a holiday park! Also went on my first 'girlie' holiday to Zante, & met OH two weeks after coming back!

10 years ago: I was 13, in my third year at an all-girls catholic convent school... and wishing my mum and dad had put me into a mixed school!

And 15 years ago: I was 8... and probably still playing with my barbies and not worrying about the troubles of being a 'grown up'!

Ten years ago, I was 18 and in my second year of Uni. Looking back, I was pretty unhappy and suffering from a chronic lack of self-confidence. I didn't really know who I was.

Fifteen years ago, I was 13. I was going through an extended rebellious/wild child phase. Gave my parents plenty to worry about

5 years ago I was 19. I was working as an office junior for a commercial estate agency. I was living with DH (then my fiance) in our own house. I used to go out clubbing quite often to Jillys Rockworld in Manchester, and to Star/Electrichead at Leeds Met uni bar.

10 years ago I was 14. I was in high school. I was living with my mam, my grandma (who died 2 months later), and an elderly lady that my mam looked after. I was starting to get into rock music a little, although I didn't get opportunity to hear a lot of it. I had never been kissed, and never had a boyfriend.

15 years ago I was 9. I had recently started at a new primary school. I was living with the same people as above. I liked to play with barbies and collected puppy in my pockets. I liked Ace of Base and The Bangles.

10 yrs ago I was living in Berlin. Earning shed loads of money, partying my ass off every weekend

15 years ago I'd just Graduated from Uni, and was heading to Berlin to party my ass off!

5 years ago i was 23 was with DH (then boyfriend) was just pregnant but didnt know it at the time found out id lost the baby just before my 12 week scann

10 years ago i was 18 working as a lifeguard lasted about 3 months i hated it got with my OH a month later

15 years ago i was 13 and having little schoolgirl crushes one week and then hateing them the next also being bullied for who knows what reason, i was also going to church every sunday.

5 years ago - been married for two years, enjoying work as a teacher and life in general.

10 years ago - Met my beloved husband at uni in Feb '98. (Been together nearly 11 years ) Graduated in the July. Spent some fun time with my OH in Geneva (he was working in CERN for a few months) and began my PGCE in Aberystwyth in the September.

15 years ago - I was 16. I finished my GCSEs and moved on to sixth form to begin my A Levels in Theology, English and History.

10 Years ago I was 21 and I was living in Ibiza partying way too hard and loving every minute of it. Although exactly 10 years ago I wasnt in Ibiza cause the season had ended so I came home and got a job.

15 Years ago I was 16 and was just starting out in my first job after leaving school half way through my A levels cause I had just had enough of school and wanted to be earning and doing other interesting stuff. I also started going out clubbing when I was 16.

5 years ago I was 19 and lost my brother (5 years on the 23rd of this month - he was 14)

10 years ago I was 14 and cant really remember anything major - although 9 years ago I was bridesmaid for mam and stepdad

5 years ago i was 24, living with my ex, in Tamworth, I had recently miscarried and discovered what a ******* he was so I was planning my escape from him! I was working at Ocean Finance and had many good friends.

10 years ago I was 19, I was a proper goth (I still am to an extent) I was seeing a guy who was 30 who had 2 kids. He was a complete ******* (notice a theme appearing here ) so I left him, and met the ******* that I was still with 5 years later! I was working in a nightclub and also in college doing a fine art degree In Swansea.

15 years ago I was 14, in my last year of comp so doing my GCSEs. I was a wild teenager and partied all the time, slept rough in the park on Thursday nights as my parents thought I was staying at my mates, her parents thought she was at mine. We would go to rock clubs, and have numerous boyfriends and do many illegal substances. Tut tut.

10 years ago - Just started my teaching job at my school, finished with OH and went on a girly holiday to Ibiza then got back with him when i came home

15 years ago - I had just started going out with OH, was doing my A levels and passed my driving test (2nd time )
