Ahhh Hun... it seems to be a huge problem in the second trimester
Just before I went away on holiday in July, I bent over to blow dry my hair and couldn't straighten up because the pain in my lower back was so incredibly bad. I even ended up going to the hospital because I had trouble walking...they wouldn't give me anything to help.. but what I ended up doing was going to a private physio (Spanish NHS wouldn't send me saying it would do no good) and I had a massage for 45mins everyday for a week...and by the last session I was standing straight and walking...best of all I could go on holiday... It was great...
I was told to also use this anti inflammatory cream on my back and dry heat, so either a hot water bottle or one of those sticky heat patches. That worked a treat too.... Try that and lie flat on your back as much as you can, also don't let your back get cold.
