Worries about ovarian cysts

For quite a few months now I have been getting a pain where my right ovary is that I think might be a problem with cysts. The pain was there a long time before I got pregnant. It is still there now on-and-off.

My question is, has anyone else had this and has anyone had it mentioned in their scan?

I have been reading that it is quite common to find cysts at scans.

Do you think I would be allowed the sonographer to look at my ovary, when I have my scan?

its definitely worth an ask hun, I was going to ask about mine too cos I have PCOS and know that before BFP I had enlarged, cystic ovaries, and am still getting similar pain, just on the left side. They can only say no and I bet if they can they'll have a look and it will give you info to ask mw about. xx

I have had cysts in the past so at my early scan I got them to check my ovaries cos I had been getting pain on the right side and it was fine. But apparently it is not uncommon to get cysts in pregnancy so try not to worry
