Hi ladies

It's been a while since I've been in here. I had to take a break for a while and "reset" my thoughts. I've been battling an ED for 15 years now and I can't seem to get any help from my gp. It's gotten so bad, I've been in and out of hospital for the past 3 months. My OH says if I would "just eat" then I'd have a healthy bmi in order to conceive.
It's gotten to the point where we now have to stop trying, just until I put on a bit of weight.
This whole situation is hopeless

So sorry you are going through this. Have you had any counselling or therapy? I don't know of any other ways to recover or manage an ED. Weight is definitely an issue with fertility and hormone balance. I'm surprised the GP doesn't send you for counselling.

I don't know much about ED but I know sometimes there can be an inciting incident, something emotionally difficult or an emotionally difficult relationship or home environment that sets it off.

If you can't afford counselling, EFT may help. I've just started to use it for anxiety.

Thank you so much for your reply. I finally got a GP who is taking this seriously. I truly believe I'm on the road to recovery, 1 day at a time

That's brilliant. Sometimes you have to battle with the NHS to get help! So pleased you have found some help. x
