I am abit worried, don't know if company are trying to screw me over or not.

I first informed them about my pregnancy when I was 14 weeks pregnant, I asked if they wanted it in writing HR manager said no its ok, I had to fill out all the H&S forms. Then I read that on here it should of been put in writing, so I asked HR should I do this & she said it didn't matter. :?

I'm panicing now, being really paranoid that because they haven't got a formal letter from me will they try & do me over when it comes to my mat pay. Maybe I'm just being silly, can't imagine they would do that but can't help thinking it.

What do you think I should do?

Thanks

Hiya I work in HR and you don't need to put it in writing as long as you complete the necessary documents and you hand in your MATB1 form once received. In saying this different company/organisations have different policies. I will advice you to check your companys policy and if in any doubt speak to HR again.

Don't worry hun x

Phew - thanks for that.

I've handed everything I need to in now, but will have another word with the HR manager aswell

Thankyou
