While I was on maternity leave I asked out HR department about childcare vouchers. They snet me an information leaflet out and on it was a table with Annual Household Imcome with entitlement for each increment. Out household income was out of scale so I forgot about it. A few weeks later I heard about the Salary Sacrafice Scheme where you buy vouchers out of your pre-tax income so it works out better. When I started work I asked the HR department about this Salary Sacrifice Scheme and was directed to (on the companies intranet pages) the same information as before and again I looked and we are out of scale. 6 months later I was talking to a colleague (who is on the same scale as me and her hubby earns a fair whack too) and she said they both get it. I phoned up the HR dept and asked again (got redirected to the same, had to tell them no, this is different
) They sent me an email with the new info in so I printed the application for off and filled it out straight away, got Jakes nursery to sign it. That was in June...
I get a phonecall in July to say it would be implemented in August, got a letter through the post the next day saying the same thing. I re-arranged my direct debits as I'll be paying more towards the nursery and less towards the mortgage. I got a letter on friday to say I'd filled out the wrong form, that was the old form and I need to register online with the voucher provider themselves before applying via HR. I am so angry. They are so incompetent! Why couldnt they have just given me the right bloody information in the first place, Ive wasted 7 months of paying full fees
I want to make a complaint about them but who do you go to to comaplain about HR?
On a tangent, at work now, to phone in sick we have to phone a call centre and they inform our managers
(talk about throwing money down the drain). Everybody got an information pack from HR with the telephone number and our personal information (Name, employee number and DOB). I never got mine. I emailed and asked about mine and said I was concerned they had lost my personal information. I got a reply "have you got it yet?", like wheres the response about my concerns?
I replied No I havnt. Not heard anything since. That was about a month ago
