I'm thinking about high chairs and would really like a wooden one - probably the East Coast Nursery folding one. But I was wondering if anyone had any experience of these or similar ones. Do people find wooden ones easy enough to clean? Are babies comfortable in them? X

I have a lovely lovely one which I adored, but my LO hated it and was so uncomfortable. I emded up getting cheapy IKEaA one and it is fab! Everyone is different though so your LO may love it? Xx

I have a wooden ikea one, looks good and max seems happy and comfy in it but Im not keen on cleaning it, never seems properly clean :-( xxx

I bought the east coast one and I don't use it because its too slippery and uncomfortable!

After using ones out and about and having a plastic one at home, I much prefer the plastic cheapy IKEA one we have. He doesn't slip, slide or schlump in it and seems quite happy in it. It's so easy to clean and both the tray and seat can be put in the dishwasher!

They have this one and the ikea one in our local brewers fayre and I very much always favoured the ikea one! I even know someone who has shorten the legs on it to use it on a kids table!

We've got the east coast one and love it, so easy to clean as you can get to all of the bits easily, Iit looks great and folds away when not in use. I have the padded insert from mothercare to make sure its comfy, LO seems to love it, I don't use the shoulder straps thouhh, just the waist ones and the bit between the legs. Very pleased I went for this one x
