Not long after my 20 weeks scan my mum and i were at her house sorting through boxes of baby clothes. We got half way through the last box when out of nowhere we found ourselves under attack by an evil, hideous and utterly terrifying..

SPIDER!!!

Needless to say we beat a hasty retreat, threw the clothes back in the box and threw the box in the garage and there it has remained...until now

I am now in possession of said box (and potentially of said spider) and will be attempting to go through the clothes!!!

Should you hear hysterical screaming, it will be me and ladies, i beg you...

DO be alarmed

DO NOT remain calm

And make your way in an UNORDERLY fashion to my immediate rescue, bringing with you any and all impliments you have, that possess spider marmalisation qualities!!!!

Wish me luck!

Sorry but this made me giggle! X however, since I am also absolutely terrified of spiders, I wish you all the luck in the world! Have a vacuum cleaner on hand for swift hooverage if said spider does make an appearance!

I dried my face this morning and as I pulled the towel away from my face there was a bloody spider on it :(
Was about an inch away from becoming my breakfast!

 fapatalking

I decided to wait until baby is in bed and well out of harms way and for hubby to be home so he can save me.

Trust me if there is a spider in there still, you will all hear the screams!!

I'll try and do it in a bit.

I'm scared...

Wear rubber gloves nothing worse than actually touching them by accident

I haven't don it yet. Went a bit past it last night and cba with potentially fighting for my life , so just chilled out instead.

Not sure I'll get time today but we'll see.

Its quite pathetic how much I'm having to phsyc (sp) myself up to do this! Can't put it off for too much longer. Cam is 12 weeks now and i need to get all those clothes sorted and washed before he grows out of his 0-3 months stuff!

LYNETTE DID YOU HAVE TO POST A PICTURE!! Nearly screamed baby out....I am terrified of spiders.

Emily I spy you live in Devon! I'm more than likely going to hear you, no offence but if I do, I'm running in the direction of Cornwall!

I'm a devon lass in deed!!

I bloody hate spiders!!

The amount of times I've nearly killed my oh as I've leapt on him in my sleep after having nightmares about spiders! Poor man!

And as for the whole they are more scared of you than you are of them...oh yeah... BOLLOCKS TO THAT! I dont see any spiders screaming hysterically, crying inconsolably and tryingto jump on the dining room table when they see me!! And, if I'm so scary, don't come in my fucking house then!!!!!

See I bloody knew it would be in there!!

Thankfully the evil little fucktard had perished long ago so i just scooped it up in the dustpan and brush! Even that is brave for me!!

Turns out after all that drama, that it was the wrong box of clothes anyway! I needed a box of 3-6 months and spider box was 6mths +!!

And this morning I managed to simultaneously trip over the cat and shut my thumb in the door!!

Sometimes I do really worry about myself...

:faint:
