Window cleaners

The window cleaners have been this morning and I always tell them to knock when they wanna be in the back and I'll unlock the gate.

Seems like thats too hard for them to do cos they've decided just to kick it down instead, breaking the gate and the lock in the process.

Wouldnt be so bad if it was the first time but they've done it before, only this time the gate is completely broken. Its a 6ft one so Im gonna have to pay for a new one.

They'll still be at the door later expecting their money

Sorry, rant over....this year has brought nothing but bad luck so far

havent you had a go at them? my god when i was PG i would of dragged them by their hair to the gate and screeched at them (my hormones were terrible) even now id have a go and dont pay them tell them your using the money for the gate they broke!

They'll deny it - simple as that

Half the time they dont even wash all the windows cos down the side of the house is a street where cars park to go to the shop across the road, and if they cant be bothered to do the side windows they just say 'There were cars in the way' but they still always charge me full price depsite my complaints.

Awwwwwwwwwwww you're just peed off and rightly so! Don't blame you at all Are there no other companies in the area you can use? Maybe you could complain to your local trading standards authority as well.... vent some of that spleen lol!

I would call the police and tell them that you know it is them that is kicking your back gate in and that they have done it before. Also i would refuse to pay them until and tell them to get stuffed from now on and find another window cleaner. If they are that stupid they will have done the same to other customers so all the proof they need will be there.

I had a window cleaner once who said that getting round the back wouldnt be a problem, i told him not to bother coming back, i dont want him kicking my gate in or climbing over it for that matter cause if he falls off it and hurts himself he can sue us for it.

What ar*eholes I would mentioned it to the local police station, they can't get away with things like that. I would tell them to sling their hook too.

Loads of times we've had British Gas knocking on our door telling us that they need to read the meter & our back' gates locked but they always say it as if we've got a blinking cheek for locking it . I always tell them 'Yes, I know, its to keep strangers from waltzing onto our property without permission, i.e you!' Makes me so cross (especially as British Gas don't supply our gas )

You *should* be able to get them to pay, but yeah, they'll try to deny it. Could a neighbour help? Maybe someone saw them do it. And if they're as aweful as they sound, change window cleaners hun!!
