just wondered if anyone had any advice/tips about winding.
nathan seems to be suffering badly with it and finds it hard to bring it up, when i feed him and after i feed him he constantly makes groaning/grunting noises. i get a burp out of him but he still makes the noises and i can be there for an hour patting his back but nothing. some comes out the other end too but never seems to clear all of it.
i have been trying infacol before each feed but it doesnt seem to be helping

my 2nd was very difficult to wind - i used to have to wind him at every oz  - very time consuming but meant he kept the feed down - held his chin up - other hand on back- supporting back of head - sitting him on edge of my knee and jiggled (like you have a nervous twitch) - sometimes syaying him forward and back (very gently like he was on a swing worked - if that didnt work - lay him down flat - v soon he would pull up his own knees and as soon as i sat him up he would burp :D - last resort was to give him another tiny taste of feed - hopefully that would increase the burp and bring allthe wind together (usually he brought back the tiny 2nd bit of feed with the burp tho)

We us to lie Rowan on his tummy on our knees with his chin cradled between our knees and then gentle rock and rub his back. That usually worked. I've enclosed a pic so you can see what I mean.
